A Visual Poem - Exploring change and the unknown | Sam Horton

This is a visual interpretation of my poem "Seasons Know" and embodies my own spiritual creative practice.

 This page isn’t just a drawing—it’s a living, breathing embodiment of my Soul Connection System, the heart of my signature framework: Soul-led Creative Empowerment.⁠ ⁠

 Every part of this piece flowed from the five sacred steps I return to again and again in my spiritual creative practice:⁠ ⁠

🌿 Grounding – I began by settling into the moment, attuning to the subtle shift of seasons and my own inner landscape, I chose a track titled The Weather in Me - which felt aligned @epidemicsound⁠ ⁠

🕯️ Intention – I set a quiet, heartfelt intention to let my recent poem “Seasons Know” guide my hand—not to plan, but to feel. And to create a visual version of the poem.⁠ ⁠

🎨 Play – With unfamiliar tools in hand, I allowed myself to explore, to make “mistakes,” and to find joy in the unknown. I chose alcohol markers - I have a set from @ohuhuart⁠ ⁠

🖋️ Express – The woman in the image, the falling leaves, the blossoming tree—they emerged from within, each mark holding symbolism and emotional truth. I added marks intuitively, letting the drawing take on its own form.⁠ ⁠

🪞 Reflect – And now, I pause. I witness what was created. I ask what it wants me to remember, release, and reclaim.⁠ ⁠

And so I ask YOU⁠ ✨ What season of your inner world is asking to be witnessed right now? Where can you embrace uncertainty and allow change to wash over you?⁠ ⁠ ⁠
